Email support

If your saved data cannot be opened

Keep the app installed if it contains places or recordings you have not synchronized or exported. Deleting the app can remove those local copies.

Unlock your device, check available space in Settings → General → iPhone Storage or iPad Storage, then return to My Location and try again. If the problem continues, contact support with your app version and the message shown. Do not send your database or private location history unless you choose to after discussing the issue with support.

Report unwanted content or sharing

To report an abusive profile, shared map, live link, harassment or sharing without consent, email privacy@mylocation.app with the subject “My Location Content Report”.

Include the shared link or profile reference, what happened and why you are reporting it. Send only the details needed to identify the issue; omit precise private locations, passwords and one-time sign-in links. An in-app Report action, where available, helps you prepare an email. Nothing is submitted until you send it.

In the iPhone/iPad app, open a shared map or live link, then choose Content Options → Report Content. Friend profiles and incoming requests also have a Report Content action. Review the reference and explanation before sending; you can copy the report if you use webmail.

You can stop your own live sharing immediately, delete links you created, and remove or block a friend in the app. Blocking a friend limits that relationship; someone with a public link may still be able to open it. Delete or replace that public link to revoke access.

To hide a particular shared map or live link, choose Content Options → Block This Link on This Device. Its contents will stop loading on that device. This does not block the publisher or remove the link for other people. To undo it, open Account → Blocked Shared Links → Unblock Link.

Reports are handled through support. Include a reply address so we can ask for necessary details. For an immediate threat to your safety, contact local emergency services; My Location is not an emergency service.
